2008 Chinese New Year Ice Breaking Game: Family Feud

How to play:
I. Form 2 teams: Youth & Adults
1. Divide the audience to 2 sides, Youth vs. Adults
2. Youth will pick 3 girls and 3 boys for the game.
3. The youth who play the game get a privilege to choose either his/her mom or dad to be the team member for the adult team. If the youth’s parents are not available, it will be opened for the volunteer. Eventually each team should have 3 male and 3 female.
4. 2 judges, Pastor Paul will be the judge for the youth team; Pastor Don will be the judge for the adult’s team.
5. One point keeping person (JoAnne Chu)
6. 2 hosts (Thomas & Cerina)
7. One power point operator
8. Small prizes

II. Game Rules
1. Each team will have 6 questions; each team member will get a chance to answer his/her question.
2. Each question has to be answered in 20 seconds. The answer will be written down on the portable white board, the players need to hold up the board to show the audience.
3. Discuss among the team is allowed.
4. If the answer is right at the first time get 3 points, on the 2nd try gets 2 points, 3rd try gets 1 point. Wrong answers get no point.
5. Audience cannot help and tell the answers. If the audience validate the rule, 1st time, team get deduct 1 point, 2nd time deduct 2 point, 3rd time 3 point.
6. One grace point: Team could have one chance to ask their audience to help.
7. After each final answer, judge will hold up the point plate and announce the score.
8. After 6 questions, audience could determine if a bonus question should be given for the losing team.
9. The bonus question will be given by the opposed team
10. The point for the bonus is an “open card” – TBD
11. Winning team will get prizes
