CCC Staff Meeting: 2/19/2008Pastoral Meeting

Present: Pastor Paul, Pastor Don & Flora Chen

1. Prayer & praise

2. 2/24 baptism: Sister Kelly Luo羅春called Flora on 2/18 afternoon and said that she will not have baptism on 2/24 due to family reason. Pastoral staffs’ decision: Sister Kelly will not receive communion, but she can receive the blessing from Pastors during the communion. Pastor Wang encourages Kelly to be patient in this situation.

3. Mission trip

• Flora will put the correspondence with the mission field on the handbook.
• Need to contact with 葉福禮弟兄Brother Tortesen Finn 有關太原短宣事宜719-271-7292(cell), 011-86-134-5341-5215(H) fiinntst@gmail.com
• After receive itinerary from traveler’s agent & confirm number of people who will go to ShanXi, e-mail it to Brother Tortesen Finn.
• Finalize mission trip schedule：
  5/15-5/20山西太原 TaiYuan, ShanXi
  5/21-29國內探親或自由活動Free time
  5/30-6/5北京Beijing
  6/6-11大甲DaJia
  6/12-19宜蘭Yilan
• Pastor Don will prepare the Yilan trip plan by 3/4 Tuesday pastoral meeting.

4. 2/22 Friday night fellowship:

• all congregation practice devotion though 2008 handbook. Flora will lead the songs. Pastor Wang will lead the devotion example. We will have 3 separate groups: Cerina, Flora, Albert will lead.
• Flora will e-mail to the group leaders to prepare leading the devotion using the church handbook.

5. 2/29 Friday night fellowship:

• Frances Leung, Outreach Project Coordinator with Asian Breast Health Outreach Project will come to introduce their program and also to educate women on breast cancer awareness. Office: 972-498-8603
• Flora will e-mail to Frances Leung to double confirm.

6. 8/30-9/1 Joint Retreat: need to list needs to Deacon Board in March board meeting.

• Pastor Wang contacted Yan. She will do the financials & room assignment.
• Flora will e-mail to all the attending churches for the followings: Church introduction各教會的簡介、牧者心聲Word’s from Pastors、代禱事項Prayer items、營會所用詩歌Hymns of worship等。
• Flora will ask Pastor Liu for 2 speakers’ Bio (蔡漢良牧師，陳明輝牧師), Pastor Don will send Flora the bio for Byron Shaffner)
• Flora will put the attending churches, pastors, speakers, co-workers’names & e-mail addresses in one file.

7. 2/29-3/1 Planet Wisdom: Flora will translate the parent letter by this Friday.
Sister Flora requested that by Wed. 5:30pm Pastor Don will e-mail Flora the worship schedule including songs, sermon information & devotion article.

8. Date Reminder:

a. 3/28-30 Mission Conference: 3/9 is the deadline to turn in articles.

b. 4/13-15 Chinese Pastors Conference:

c. 5/11 Pastor Wang will preach in Chinese side. Pastor Hsieh will choose one Sunday among 5/18, 5/23, 5/30 & 6/7 to preach at CCC.
