I. Love fund allocation
-We gave $2,000 to Brother Charles
-In April we will give $1,000 to Brother Lee’s family
-Love fund balance as of March is $1,378.75.
-We gave $1,000 to Mike’s family.
-Pastor Wang’s airline ticket is $422.
-We spend $130 for Brother Lee’s funeral flowers.
II. Garage Sale/Car Wash/Mother’s Day sale (05/03)
-Pass information to Flora to put in bulletin.
-Albert will do sign-up sheet.
III. China Seminar at CCC
-05/10/08. Friday 7:30pm.
-05/11/08. Saturday 10am.
IV. Financial report
-Mission budget (Mar. 2007-Mar 2008). We have $6,000 at beginning. We received $74,652. We spent $59,699. Net is $14,953 for 12 months. $21,201 saving at end of March 2008. This doesn’t include 2008 mission trip expenses.
-General fund still have $42K balance.
-Building fund unchanged at $63K.

Ephesians Chapter 2
Mission Budget
1. Cerina created and presented another budget report based on Mike’s data.
2. Added Steven and Sebrina into our missionary list so we will add $100 per month, $1200 per year to our budget.
3. Removed Love Fund item and Christmas Gift item. Allocated $2000 for a new item called “Missionary Gift and Love Fund”. (deacons voted and passed)
4. Removed Education/Evangelism Training $790 per year. (deacons voted and passed)
5. Church supports only one Seminary student $300 per month, who will commit to serve our church regularly.

l The cost of Short Term Mission almost take 50% of our total Mission budget. We need to re-evaluate it.
Short Term Mission Trip
1. Taiwan mission trip haven’t reach registration deadline yet, we cannot decide the expense today.
2. China mission team total has 6 people.
Deacon/Pastor Inputs -
l Mission Committee need to come out Short Term Mission Policy and committee needs to have Mission Trip Evaluation report each time when the team comes back from mission trip.
l The price of Taiwan mission trip for youth is very high. Could we consider some other places instead of Asia ?
l Church’s goal for the next year mission trip will be asking each participant to raise or donate at least 50% of his/her expense.

1. 03/28/08 6:30pm Albert will order the dinner.
2. 03/29/08 6:00pm potluck dinner
3. Pastor Don will be responsible for picking up youth speaker.
4. Pastor Wang will be responsible for picking up Chinese speaker.
5. Pastor encouraged deacons to write testimony for either Mission Conference or Short Team Mission.

1. Meeting has finalized Retreat Roster. Pastor Wang will be major coordinator.
