2. Meeting at BGCT on 5/5 Monday

· Present: Patty Lane & Fabian with BGCT, Pastor Tong & Mrs. Tong 湯傳哲牧師夫婦, Pastor Paul, Pastor Don, Flora

· Meeting decision:

· Pastor Paul will take responsibility for Texas Chinese Baptist churches website administrator for BGCT.

· Person for content review & approval: Patty Lane will call Jason Lee(chairperson for Chinese Baptist churches in Texas fellowship) to be in charge of this.

· The website minister of BGCT Fabian mentioned two points: (1) the website management & (2) blogging. The BGCT's website is as safe as possible. It has a good firewall that will keep out hackers. Also, the content reviewer/approver and the website administrator will be able to keep out inappropriate material and control the content, RSS feeds and links to other blogs included on the website. The Google and Word press blogs are good and can be set up to avoid inappropriate content.

The following were recommended by Fabian that he uses for personal and business website & blogging development

4. Bulletin preparation

· 5/18 & the whole month of June: Since Flora will be out of town, Cerina & Thomas will prepare bulletin.

5. Joint retreat

· Yukon rental agreement:

· First Baptist Church Yukon confirmed that they received the agreement & $500 deposit. The $500 deposit will be returned to CCC in about 1 month after the retreat after Yukon church deducts any damage occurred.

· First Baptist Church Yukon will mail back the signed contract to CCC.

· $1600 rental fee is due 60 days before rental date which is 6/30. CCC will mail the check before 6/27. Flora e-mailed to Cerina & Yan to take care of this. Cerina will mail check to: First Baptist Church Yukon 15 S 6th St, Yukon, OK 73099

· Registration form: Flora will prepare by this Friday.

April 22, 2008

1. Prayer

2. 4/25 Friday night seminar “internet safety”
Pastor Don talked to John Karstetter on Mon. 4/21 regarding the outline of his seminar & the background of him. Pastor Don thinks the information is very help for the parents to receive to build awareness of internet safety. Let the parents to attend the seminar for this time. Then later if parents think they want their children to receive the information, John said that he is willing to come to our church again to give the seminar.

Ø Pastor Don will contact John and give him the time frame (8:00pm for the seminar) of this Friday night’s schedule.

Ø Flora will email to all CCC Adult for inviting to Friday night fellowship.

3. Prayer request for Brother Fozy: Flora will put on the bulletin for Fozy’s health.

4. Joint retreat
Ø Yukon rental agreement:

Ø Put all the joint retreat information in CCC blog to CCC Joint Retreat blog. All new information will put in CCC Joint Retreat blog only.

Ø Regarding the $500 contribution from the attending churches: Pastor Liu will ask the attending churches to send the check to CCC by 6/30.

Ø Regarding $3500 Support from BGCT: Pastor Solomon will contact Patty Lane at BGCT for the check. (done. See the attachment #1 below )

5. Yilan mission
Ø English camp:
學校要先知道School needs to know課程大綱Teaching outline: Pastor Don will have the outline by 4/20 Sunday. 3 principles: simple, unique, appropriate.

Ø Flora will ask Pastor Liu:
A. if she has Sound system, if yes, we will borrow from her.
B. If not, ask Pastor Liu to check the price in Yilan.
C. If the price is under $100, ask Pastor Liu to buy one & CCC will pay back.
D. We will use the $1000 budget of donation to Yilan church to pay for the speaker.
Ø Transportation in Yilan: Flora e-mailed to Pastor Liu to arrange transportation from airport to Yilan.
Ø Pastor Don will e-mail sermon to James by 5/4 for translation to Taiwanese.
Ø Handbook is due on 4/29 Tuesday.

3. Yilan mission
English camp

English camp is open for 3rd, 4th & 5th grade on 6/16 – 6/18.
--每天一個年級，二個班，每班人數20-30人
One grade per day, 2 classes per grade, each class has 20-30 kids.
--每日上午Every morning 8：40-12：00四節課4 classes(每節課40分鐘40 min. each class)

6. 8/30-9/1 Joint Retreat: need to list needs to Deacon Board in March board meeting.

• Pastor Wang contacted Yan. She will do the financials & room assignment.
• Flora e-mailed to all the attending churches for the followings: Church introduction各教會的簡介、牧者心聲Word’s from Pastors、代禱事項Prayer items、營會所用詩歌Hymns of worship等。
• Flora will ask Pastor Liu for 2 speakers’ Bio (蔡漢良牧師，陳明輝牧師), Pastor Don will send Flora the bio for Byron Shaffner)
• Flora will e-mail CCC Detailed serving roster & All churches’ Roster schedule to deacons before 3/9 Sunday.

8. External Hard drive: Pastoral staffs will buy a 500GB external hard drive for Flora to save church files. Price will be around $100.-

2. 2/24 baptism: Sister Kelly Luo羅春called Flora on 2/18 afternoon and said that she will not have baptism on 2/24 due to family reason. Pastoral staffs’ decision: Sister Kelly will not receive communion, but she can receive the blessing from Pastors during the communion. Pastor Wang encourages Kelly to be patient in this situation.

3. Mission trip

• Flora will put the correspondence with the mission field on the handbook.
